Homeward Bound!

Thursday was our day to fly back to the real world from the busiest trip ever!  We were so very tired but had to get up and leave for the airport at 6:00 in the morning!  Our flight left Orlando at 9:40 am and we were in Birmingham by 10:10!!

When we arrived at the airport, we had McDonald's for breakfast.  :)

   Some of our friends that were at Disney flew home with us.  The girls loved that!

 Lyla and Lily once again did pretty well on the flight.  

 After getting a taxi to bring us home, we found our long, lost sister!  The girls were so happy to see each other.  We all missed Miss Lola very much!  They couldn't wait to give her the presents we brought back.  We can't wait to take Lola back to Disney in a couple of years!  It was the best trip ever!

Day 5 at Disney - Magic Kingdom (Our Last Day)

Wednesday was our last full day at Disney.  We went back to Magic Kingdom since we really had only seen Fantasy Land so far.  We began our day with breakfast at our resort.  Lyla had Mickey Mouse waffles!

 Our first stop was to meet the princesses (again)!  We stood in line just to get Princess Aurora's autograph.  We had not seen her yet!

 And finally Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)!

 Then we headed for Tomorrow Land and the rain came!!!!  Thankfully we had ponchos!  :)

 We rode the People Mover and then the Toy Story ride.

 After more exploring of Tomorrow Land, we headed for lunch.  We paused for a must-have picture in front of the castle while the rain stopped for a bit.

 Then we headed for our lunch at the Crystal Palace where we would eat with Pooh and Friends!

Lunch was great but for some unknown reason Lily had an allergic reaction to something she ate.  She broke out in hives, so she and I ended our lunch with a trip to first aide for Benadryl!  It began to rain again and during the rain, the girls took a nap in the stroller.  While the girls were napping, Ashley was able to see the Hall of the Presidents and I visited the Christmas Shoppe.  

After naps we headed over to Frontier Land and Adventure Land!  

We visited the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House...

 Then the Magic Carpet Ride of Aladdin...

 And finally the Jungle Cruise!

 Finally we headed to Liberty Square and rode the ferry boat!

 We ended our day at Magic Kingdom with dinner at the Columbian Seafood House.

Day 4 at Disney - Hollywood Studios

Tuesday was Hollywood Studios day!  There were a few key things we wanted to do here, but I also think this is place the girls will enjoy much more when they are older.  After a family picture, it was off to grab a fast pass for the Toy Story ride!  We got there as it was opening and the line just to get a fast pass was very long!  Soon they ran out of fast passes for this extremely popular ride!  I am glad we got there early!

 After getting our fast pass, we went and watched the Little Mermaid Show and then caught the new Disney Junior show!  The girls loved this!  We had front row seats!

 Lyla loved that Jake was in the show too!!

 "Gold" was thrown out during the show!  Lily thought that was the neatest!

 Then we went to see the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" playground!

 We then wandered the streets waiting for lunch.

 We had lunch reservations at the Sci-Fi Movie Diner.  It was very neat!  We ate lunch in a car!

 They even fixed Lily a hamburger with a BUN she could eat!

 And the best part dessert!!

 Then we rode the best ride - TOY STORY MANIA!  During the ride, you play a video game of sorts shooting objects.  It was fun!  :)

 We went to the Beauty and Beast show which was my favorite of all of the shows we watched.  Lily slept during the show! :)

 Then they both took a nap in the stroller!

 SO...we were able to stay the whole day and enjoy a few more rides.  We went on the 3-D Star Wars ride.  Lyla loved it!

 Lily had fun with Cal while we rode Star Wars.

What a great day we had!  We stayed here from 9:00 in the morning until about 7:30 at night!  It was a long day, so we stayed at the resort and called it an early night.
