She is a real baby!

On New Year's Eve, we went for a sneak peak of our new baby girl. Lily Jade followed suit with her big sister (we had to go back 3 times with Lyla!) and kept her hands in front of her face for a while. However by the end we were able to get some cute pictures of her face using the 4D ultrasound. It is amazing! God is so good! I am now 31 weeks. She will be here before we know it!

Visit with Santa

Before Christmas, we took Lyla for our annual visit with Santa Claus. She seemed excited as we waited in line to visit with him. She saw him and couldn't wait. Ashley and I kept looking at each other thinking "yeah, right". We just knew she wouldn't sit in his lap and let us get her picture. However, she proved us both wrong! She let Ashley put her in his lap and she sat all by herself and talked with him. She posed for pictures and then he gave her a candy cane. She even told him "bye bye"! We are so proud of her. She is too when she looks at the pictures! :)

It has been a while...

I know I haven't posted in a while! This has been a busy past few months. Let me try to catch you up as quickly as possible. First, Lyla turned 2! Can you believe she is already two years old? She is growing up so fast. We had a great time with family and friends with a party at our local park. We had a pink ladybug party.

In November, we enjoyed Thanksgiving with our families. We first traveled to Brantley for lunch and then to Abbeville for dinner. We are so thankful for such loving and caring families.

Also in the meantime, the Leeds Greenwave football team continued to do very well week after week. They did so well; they made it to the 3A Championship game at Legion Field. They won! They beat Cordova to win the state title! Roll, Greenwave, Roll!!
