Visiting Santa

This year we took the girls to the Bass Pro Shop to go visit Santa Claus. We picked a day during the week hoping it wouldn't be too crowded. We picked a good day and made it through the line pretty quickly. While we were waiting, we continue to tell Lily what we were doing in hopes that she would sit on Santa's lap. She seemed all for it and was watching and waiting...

and then it was our turn! As we approached Santa, Lily got very quiet. I quickly placed Lola in Santa's arms and had Lyla stand beside him. Then Ashley went to place Lily in his lap and the crying began! She clinched onto Ashley so tight and wouldn't let go! So Ashley made the Santa picture this year...

It turned out pretty great, even if Daddy is in the picture! I am sure we will have several of these in the next couple of years! :)

Lyla was thrilled that Santa gave them all a candy cane!
