I am truly blessed to have a wonderful husband. He is such a great father to Lyla. We have had a wonderful father's day just spending time together. Lyla began her day by waking up her daddy with hugs and kisses and of course a present just for daddy. We then had a normal Sunday going to church and being with friends. Today's sermon was wonderful, teaching us the true qualities of a father. A father is one who is a protector, provider, teacher, and most of all a friend. Thank you, Ashley for being such a great father figure to Lyla and a great husband to me! We love you!
Here are some pictures for you to enjoy from our day...

YAY! You're a blogger now! I hope you enjoy it as much as I am enjoying mine.
I was planning on calling you tomorrow - Tait has talked about Lyla ALL DAY LONG. She has pretended to play with her. Lyla has been a frequently spoken name today at my house. We need to get them together and play - Tait and Camille both have horrendous colds/crud right now, so we'll let them get a little better before we expose Lyla to those fun germs.
We play in the area tournament this weekend. We play Thurs at 7:30 then Fri at wither 6 or 7:30 depending on how we do Thurs. We are having fun, but are really tired. It's exhausting to be at the ball park 6 nights a week. Especially chasing 2 toddlers. Ugh.
Talk to you this week.
Melanie,
So glad you started a blog! You will love it. It is very addicting when you get started reading other people's blogs. But I love keeping up with friends this way (and reading up on people I don't even know). Lyla is PRECIOUS!!! That little grin is too cute! Enjoy your summer!
